3 Killed in Lemoore Crash at 17th Avenue and Kansas Avenue

Lemoore, CA. – Three people were killed in a two-vehicle collision on Saturday night in Lemoore.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened around 11:43 p.m. at the intersection of 17th and Kansas avenues.

A man was driving a 2017 Toyota Camry southbound on 17th Avenue when he failed to yield the right of way and crashed into a 2020 Peterbilt 579 traveling eastbound on Kansas Avenue.

The impact of the collision sent the Camry off the roadway where it crashed into a metal pole.

Two rear passengers of the Camry were pronounced dead at the accident scene.

Another passenger was transported to a local hospital where he later died.

The driver of the Camry was transported to the hospital for treatment of moderate injuries.

The driver of the big rig was unhurt.

More details about the accident were not released.
