A Nissan sedan and a Honda minivan were involved in the collision on the westbound side of D Street

Victorville, CA.- A child was among three people injured in a two-vehicle accident in Victorville on Wednesday evening, according to the authorities.
The wreck took place in the 16200 block of North D Street at about 7:05 p.m. October 22.
A Nissan sedan and a Honda minivan were involved in the collision on the westbound side of D Street.
The sedan had extensive damage to its front while the minivan sustained major damage to its driver's side.
Two people were extricated by firefighters from one of the vehicles.
One person was airlifted to a trauma center with major injuries.
A father and his daughter were transported by ambulance with less serious injuries.
The crash caused the closure of D Street between Air Expressway and I-15 Freeway as authorities investigated the incident.
The investigation is ongoing.
