WSP Investigating Deadly Pasco Motorcycle Crash on Lewis Street

Pasco, WA. – A 24-year-old motorcyclist from Richland was killed early Sunday morning after colliding with a car at a Pasco intersection, authorities reported.

The crash happened around 1 a.m. near Lewis Street and 12th Avenue.

According to the Washington State Patrol, Maximillian J. Ritchey was riding east on Lewis Street when his motorcycle crossed the center line and collided with a Chevy .

Ritchey, who was wearing a helmet, was thrown from the bike and died at the scene.

Ritchey worked as a security guard at Lee's Tahitian, where coworkers gathered to mourn him. Authorities said there were no signs of speeding.

The Washington State Patrol is investigating the crash.
