The WSP reports a 50-year-old Stanwood woman was driving a Lexus eastbound on US 2 when she went across the centerline and collided head-on with an oncoming Honda CRV driven by a 50-year-old Monroe woman
Snohomish, WA. – Two people were killed in a head-on collision in Snohomish on Tuesday morning, according to the Washington State Patrol.
The incident took place on US 2, just east of State Route 9, at about 6:43 a.m. December 31.
The WSP reports a 50-year-old Stanwood woman was driving a Lexus eastbound on US 2 when she went across the centerline and collided head-on with an oncoming Honda CRV driven by a 50-year-old Monroe woman.
Both drivers died in the accident.
The crash led to the closure of US 2 as authorities worked to clear the scene.
The cause of the wreck is under investigation.
