According to the WSP, a 23-year-old woman was traveling the wrong way in the westbound lanes of SR 524 when she collided head-on with an oncoming vehicle

Lynnwood, WA.- Two women were injured in a wrong-way accident in Lynnwood early Sunday morning, according to the Washington State Patrol.
The wreck took place on State Route 524 near Interstate 405 at around 1:15 a.m. October 5.
According to the WSP, a 23-year-old woman was traveling the wrong way in the westbound lanes of SR 524 when she collided head-on with an oncoming vehicle.
The second vehicle was being driven by a 31-year-old woman.
The two drivers were transported to Providence Medical Center with unspecified injuries.
Alcohol and drugs were not suspected to have played a role in the incident, the WSP reported.
The incident is under investigation.
