Two People Fatally Injured in Two-Vehicle Accident on State Route 101 at Carmen Drive in Camarillo

Camarillo, CA – Two people were killed and another injured following a two-vehicle collision on Highway 101 in Camarillo early Monday morning.
The wreck happened at around 3 a.m. on the northbound State Route 101 at Carmen Drive, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Two vehicles were involved in the crash. However, the manner in which they collided was not immediately established.
Two people died in the crash and a third person was injured.
The identities of the deceased were not immediately disclosed.
All lanes of the highway lanes were shut down and traffic was diverted at Carmen Drive while crews worked to clear the scene and investigate the cause of the crash.
