Two Hurt in Alpine Car Crash on I-8 near East Victoria Drive
Alpine, California (February 24, 2022) – Two people were injured in a traffic collision in Alpine early Thursday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The incident happened on I-8 near East Victoria Drive shortly after 2 a.m.
A gold Nissan Altima driven by a female driver was reportedly traveling east on the westbound side of I-8 when it collided head-on with a blue Compact car operated by a male driver.

Both vehicles burst into flames following the impact.
Emergency crews pulled out both drivers from their vehicles and transported them to hospital with unspecified injuries.
It’s unclear whether alcohol was a factor in the accident.
