2 Injured after Skydiving Plane Crashes near Oceanside Municipal Airport

San Diego, California (February 24, 2022) – A pilot and a passenger were injured after a skydiving plane crashed on Thursday afternoon in Oceanside.

The plane crash happened in the area of Foussat Road and Highway 76 at around 12:47 p.m.

The police said the Cessna 208B Caravan belonging to GoJump Oceanside lost altitude while approaching the Oceanside Municipal Airport.

The pilot and a passenger were injured in the crash and were transported to local hospitals for treatment.

The conditions of the victims were not immediately disclosed.
