Victorville, CA. – Two people were injured in a head-on collision early Sunday morning in Victorville.
According to the Victorville Police Department, the accident happened around 6 a.m. on the northbound I-15 freeway just south of Palmdale Road.
A silver 2025 Nissan Versa was traveling the wrong way on the northbound Interstate 15 when it collided head-on with a red 2023 VinFast.
The driver of the Nissan became trapped inside the vehicle and had to be extricated by firefighters.
Both drivers were transported to St. Mary’s Medical Center for treatment.
The accident resulted in the closure of the northbound lanes of Interstate 15 while emergency crews treated the injured and investigators processed the scene.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
