Livermore, CA.- Two pedestrians were struck and injured by a vehicle in Livermore on Tuesday morning, according to the Livermore Police Department.
The incident took place on East and Hillcrest avenues at about 7:15 a.m. March 25.
The pedestrians were crossig the intersection in the crosswalk when they were hit by a vehicle that failed to stop for a red light while traveling eastbound on East Avenue.
The victims, both in their 60s, were taken to Eden Medical Center in Castro Valley with non-life-threatening injuries.
The Livermore driver, a man in his 50s, remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
The investigation is ongoing.
