Moreno Valley, CA. – Two people were hospitalized after a traffic collision that happened Wednesday evening in Moreno Valley, the California Highway Patrol reported.

According to CHP, a black Jeep was swerving when it struck a semi-truck parked on the right shoulder.
Riverside County sheriff deputies and firefighters responded to the scene.
A passenger in the car was bleeding from the head, and reportedly went in and out of consciousness. The driver complained of pain to the leg and neck.
Both patients were transported to Riverside University Hospital System for treatment.
CHP officers are investigating the collision.
