Police said the driver of a Subaru crossed over the center median of North Market Street while traveling southbound in the northbound lanes and collided head-on with a Ford.

Redding, CA. – Two people were hospitalized, and a driver was arrested for DUI following a head-on collision that happened in Redding.
According to the Redding Police Department, the incident occurred at an unspecified time on North Market Street near Lake Boulevard.
Police said the driver of a Subaru crossed over the center median of North Market Street while traveling southbound in the northbound lanes and collided head-on with a Ford.
Two people were taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
Investigators arrested the Subaru driver after determining he was driving under the influence. He faces charges of felony DUI causing serious injury.
The roadway was closed during the investigation.
