Thermal, CA. – Two people were hospitalized after a car accident that happened Thursday evening in Thermal, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The incident occurred just after 6 p.m. on State Route 86 at 62nd Avenue.
Two vehicles were involved in the crash. One vehicle reportedly ran a red light at the intersection, causing the collision.
Two people sustained minor injuries in the accident. AMR responded and transported one person to Desert Regional Medical Center, and the other to JFK Memorial Hospital.
Authorities did not immediately establish the cause of the crash, but an investigation is ongoing.
