The CHP patrol car overturned onto its side under unclear circumstances.
Two officers inside the vehicle were taken to the hospital as a precaution. Neither is believed to have sustained any serious injuries.
Freeway lanes were closed following the crash, prompting a SigAlert to be issued around 7:20 p.m.
