Teen Hurt in Fresno Bicycle Crash on Friant Road and Audubon Drive

Fresno, CA.- A teenager was transported to a hospital after being hit by a vehicle while riding an e-bike in Northeast Fresno on Saturday afternoon.

According to the Fresno Police Department, the accident took place on Friant Road and Audubon Drive near Woodward Park at around 3:00 p.m. October 11.

A 15-year-old boy was riding the bike alongside his two friends heading west on Audubon Drive when he swerved to cross traffic and was hit by an SUV.

The SUV dragged the teen and his bike into the intersection of Friant Road.

The boy was rushed to a hospital with critical injuries to his head and upper body.

No other injuries were reported.

The driver remained at the scene after the accident and cooperated with investigators.

The accident is under investigation by the Fresno police.
