13-Year-Old Rider Injured in Victorville Bicycle Crash on Nisqualli Road

Victorville, CA.- A 13-year-old bicyclist was seriously injured in a crash with a suspected DUI driver in Victorville on Friday night.

According to the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department, the accident took place at about 9:16 p.m. on Nisqualli Road and 2nd Avenue.

The teenage boy was riding a bike eastbound on Nisqualli Road when he was struck by a white Toyota Camry driven by Rosalie Morales, 36, of Victorville.

The boy sustained serious injuries and was rushed to St. Mary Medical Center, before being flown to University Medical Center.

Morales was arrested on suspicion of DUI.

A section of Nisqualli Road was shut down as authorities investigated the incident.

The investigation is ongoing.
