1 Seriously Injured in Highway 76 Car Accident at Pauma Valley Drive in Pauma Valley
Pauma Valley, California (June 21, 2022) – Authorities are investigating a serious injury car crash that happened Tuesday morning in Pauma Valley.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the Highway 76 car accident occurred at about 7:43 a.m. at Pauma Valley Drive.
The incident involved a blue sedan and a small SUV. The vehicles collided for unknown reasons, knocking a power pole down. The pole was left blocking the eastbound traffic lanes.
Good Samaritans at the scene pulled an occupant out of one of the vehicles before first responders arrived.
Firefighters and paramedics responded to the scene and helped one person who sustained major injuries.
At the time of the report, it remained unclear what caused the collision.
