1 Seriously Injured in Car Accident on 5 Freeway near Downing Avenue in Stockton
Stockton, California (June 2, 2023) – Authorities are investigating a major injury car crash that happened near Stockton on Friday morning.
According to a report by the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened on northbound 5 Freeway near Downing Avenue at around 6:11 a.m.
A flatbed truck and a sedan, possibly a Dodge Charger, were involved in the collision. The impact of the collision caused the Ford Charger to crash into the center divider.
CHP says one person was seriously injured in the crash and was transported to the hospital for treatment.
