1 Seriously Injured in Malibu Crash on PCH near Mullholland Highway

Malibu, Calif. – One person was airlifted to the hospital after being injured in a fiery car crash on Monday afternoon in Malibu.

The accident was reported around 1:20 p.m. in the 34000 block of Pacific Coast Highway (PCH) near Mullholland Highway, according to the California Highway Patrol.

A white Range Rover and one other vehicle were involved in the collision. Both vehicles had significant damage and one caught fire.

One person was seriously injured in the accident and was airlifted to an area hospital for treatment.

PCH remained closed until the wreckage was cleared.

More details about the accident were not released.

An investigation into the accident is underway.
