1 Hospitalized after San Diego Crash on Interstate 15 near Interstate 8
San Diego, California (September 1, 2022) – One person was seriously injured in a multi-vehicle collision involving a motorcycle that happened Thursday morning in San Diego, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The incident took place at about 9:23 a.m. on northbound Interstate 15 near Interstate 8.
Three vehicles, including a motorcycle, collided under unclear circumstances.
The motorcycle went down, and the rider was left sitting in traffic lanes.
At least one person suffered a broken clavicle in the crash. Emergency personnel responded to the scene and transported the patient to the hospital.
CHP is investigating to determine the cause of the accident.
