1 Severely Hurt in Car Accident on West 106th Street and South Vermont Avenue in East Los Angeles

Los Angeles, CA. – One person was seriously injured in a two-vehicle collision on South 106th Street in East Los Angeles Wednesday afternoon.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash happened at around 2:02 p.m. on West 106th Street and South Vermont Avenue.
A white Honda and a Volkswagen collided in the area for unknown reasons. One of the vehicles was found overturned on the center divider.
Both vehicles had significant front-end damage.
One person suffered severe injuries and was rushed to Harbor-UCLA Medical Center for treatment.
No further information about the mishap was provided.
CHP is investigating to determine the cause of the crash.
