According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident took place around 5:34 p.m. on the southbound 405 Freeway just north of Brookhurst Street.
Two vehicles were involved in the collision.
Firefighters and paramedics responded to the scene and evaluated the motorists.
At least one of them was treated for minor injuries.
CHP officers are investigating the cause of the crash.
