Perris, CA – One person died in a possible hit-and-run accident that happened Wednesday evening near an intersection in Perris.
The incident was reported just before 6 p.m., December 31, on El Sobrante Road, just south of Cajalco Road.
Authorities responded to the scene after they were notified of a body in the roadway that had been run over several times.
Three motorists stopped at the scene to warn other motorists, but they reportedly did not hit the body.
A coroner representative was dispatched to the scene following the fatality.
