Diamond Bar, CA – One person was killed and several others injured in a multi-vehicle collision at an intersection in Diamond Bar early this morning.
According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department deputies, the wreck was reported at around 2:17 a.m. at the intersection of West Mission Boulevard and West Temple Avenue, east of the Orange (57) Freeway.
The police located several damaged vehicles, including one that was split in half following the mishap.
One person was pronounced dead at the crash site. Several other people were taken to the hospital with unknown injuries for treatment.
The identity of the deceased was not immediately disclosed.
Additional information about the crash was not available.
The cause of the grisly wreck remains under investigation.
