The pursuit ended shortly after when the suspect collided with a second vehicle at Randolph Street and Eastern Avenue

Commerce, CA.- One person was killed and several others were injured in a crash that happened after a pursuit of a suspect in Commerce on Saturday night, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Shortly after 11 p.m. February 22, authorities spotted a driver traveling the wrong way in the area of Eastern and Florence Avenues and attempted to stop them.
The suspect failed to stop and fled the area, leading to a pursuit with the CHP troopers.
The pursuit ended shortly after when the suspect collided with a second vehicle at Randolph Street and Eastern Avenue.
The suspect also collided with a pedestrian in the crosswalk and crashed into a bus stop.
One person sitting in the bus stop was killed in the accident.
The pedestrian who was hit in the crosswalk was hospitalized with severe leg injuries.
Two other parties were treated for minor injuries.
The accident is under investigation.
