According to the LAPD, a Scion was traveling east on Saticoy Street when it was involved in a crash with a Toyota Prius heading north on Kester Avenue

Van Nuys, CA.- One person was killed in a two-vehicle collision at an intersection in Van Nuys early Wednesday morning.
At about 12:37 a.m., the Los Angeles Police Department responded to a call of a major accident at the Kester Avenue and Saticoy Street intersection.
According to the LAPD, a Scion was traveling east on Saticoy Street when it was involved in a crash with a Toyota Prius heading north on Kester Avenue.
The driver of the Prius died at the site of the collision.
The Scion driver was pulled out of the wreckage by firefighters and was taken to a hospital for treatment.
The driver of the Scion is suspected to have been involved in an earlier crash at Woodman Avenue and Riverside Drive in Sherman Oaks.
No further details were released.
The accident is under investigation.
