Investigators said a Polaris RZR was traveling westbound on Gas Line Road when, for unknown reasons, it crashed into a chain link fence
Rancho Dos Palmas, CA – A 46-year-old Thermal resident died following a single-vehicle off-road crash in Rancho Dos Palmas Tuesday evening, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The deadly crash happened around 7:00 p.m. October 14 on Gas Line Road west of Summit Road.
Investigators said a Polaris RZR was traveling westbound on Gas Line Road when, for unknown reasons, it crashed into a chain link fence.
A 45-year-old passenger of the involved car died at the scene.
Police said the driver fled the scene in an unknown direction.
No more details were immediately available.
The accident remains under investigation.
