According to CHP, a man was driving a white Dodge pickup truck westbound on I-40 when he drifted off the roadway and the truck flipped multiple times

Newberry Springs, CA.- A person was killed in a rollover crash in Newberry Springs on Saturday afternoon, according to a report by the California Highway Patrol.
The incident took place at around 12:10 p.m. September 13, on Interstate 40 near the Hector Road exit.
According to CHP, a man was driving a white Dodge pickup truck westbound on I-40 when he drifted off the roadway and the truck flipped multiple times.
The truck came to a rest upside-down in a ravine and the driver was partially ejected.
The driver, who was not identified pending notification of the next-of-kin, died at the site of the crash.
The California Highway Patrol is investigating the accident.
