According to the report, a car traveling east on I-8 crashed into a big rig truck
San Diego, CA.- One person was killed in an accident that took place in the College Area neighborhood of San Diego early Friday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The wreck happened on I-8 near College Avenue shortly after 1 a.m.
According the report, a car traveling east on I-8 crashed into a big rig truck.
The car was then struck by at least one other vehicle.
The driver of the car that hit the big rig died in the incident after the car burst into flames.
There were no other injuries in the incident.
The California Highway Patrol is investigating to determine the cause of the accident.
