San Diego, CA. – A pedestrian died after being struck by a car in the Midway District area of San Diego on Friday night.
According to San Diego police, the accident happened around 11 p.m. in the 3400 block of Sports Arena Boulevard.
A 51-year-old man was crossing a street in the area and was hit by a 2016 Toyota Camry.
The man was transported to hospital where he later died.
The driver of the car, a 22-year-old man, was unhurt.
More details about the accident were not released.
SDPD’s Traffic Division is investigating the accident.
