San Bernardino, California (July 23, 2023) – At least one person died in a head-on collision that happened early Sunday morning in San Bernardino.

At around 4:18 a.m., the California Highway Patrol dispatch received reports of a car crash on Highway 138 near Little Horsethief Canyon Road.

Two vehicles, possibly a Chevrolet Camaro and a white Mercedes sedan, collided head-on in unclear circumstances.

One person was killed in the accident.

The name of the deceased person was not immediately disclosed.

One person was seriously injured in the accident and was taken to Desert Valley Hospital for treatment.

More details about the accident were not released.

An investigation into the accident is underway.
