One person killed in car accident at Van Ness Avenue and 135th Street in Gardena
Los Angeles, CA. – At least one person was killed in a collision on Sunday morning in Gardena.
According to the Gardena Police Department, the accident happened at the intersection of Van Ness Avenue and 135th Street at around 7:40 a.m.
Two vehicles collided at the intersection in unclear circumstances.
The name of the person who died was not immediately disclosed.
The second driver, identified as Marian James, of Los Angeles, fled the scene but was later arrested and booked at the Gardena Police Department.
