1 Dies, 1 Injured in Collision at East Avenue and Cohasset Road in Chico
Chico, California (June 6, 2023) – One person was killed in a car crash on Tuesday night in Chico.
According to the Chico Police Department, the accident happened at around 9:45 p.m. at East Avenue and Cohasset Road.
Two cars are reported to have collided at the intersection in unclear circumstances. Both cars were severely injured in the crash.
One person was pronounced dead at the accident scene.
A second person was injured in the collision and was taken to Enloe Medical Center for treatment.
Several agencies including the Butte County Sheriff’s Office, California Highway Patrol, as well Chico Fire Department and Cal Fire-Butte County responded to the incident.
