Traver, CA – One person was killed in a car accident in Traver on Friday afternoon, according to the CHP.
The fatal accident was reported just before 2:00 p.m. on the southbound Merritt Drive onramp.
CHP said a vehicle was struck and it went up an embankment.
The car caught fire after the collision.
One person was pronounced dead at the scene.
No other details were provided.
The CHP is investigating the accident.
