1 Killed in San Diego Bicycle Accident on 5 Freeway near Clairemont Drive
San Diego, California (May 17, 2022) – A bicyclist died after being struck by a vehicle on Tuesday morning in San Diego.
The 9:30 a.m. crash happened on Interstate 5 Freeway near Clairemont Drive, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A white Honda Accord is reported to have struck a bicycle on the southbound lanes of the freeway under unclear circumstances.
The bicyclist was killed in the collision.
