Police reported that a GMC pickup and a Silver Lexus SUV were involved in the incident
Ventura, CA.- One person was killed and three others were hurt in a crash that took place in Ventura on Saturday afternoon, according to the Ventura Police Department.
The wreck took place on Loma Vista Road and North Victoria Avenue at about 1:45 p.m. February 15.
Police reported that a GMC pickup and a Silver Lexus SUV were involved in the incident.
The pickup was traveling north on Victoria Avenue when it tried to make a right turn onto Loma Vista Road and collided with the SUV, which was traveling eastbound on Loma Vista Road.
The SUV was pushed off the roadway and it came to a rest on its side in the driveway of a home.
Two people in the SUV were extricated and hospitalized with serious injuries.
One of the seriously injured parties, a female, was pronounced deceased at the hospital.
The two occupants of the pickup were also transported with less serious injuries.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
