Wildomar, CA – One person is dead and another injured following a two-car collision at a Wildomar intersection Tuesday morning, according to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department.
The deadly collision happened at about 6:25 a.m. at Bundy Canyon Road and Harvest Way.
According to the Sheriff’s Department, a vehicle pulled onto Bondy Canyon Road and collided with another car.
The County fire crews responded to the scene and found both drivers trapped in the wreckage.
The firefighters extricated the two drivers and transported them to Inland Valley Medical Center, where one of them was declared deceased.
The name of the deceased party was not immediately released.
The second driver had major injuries and remained in critical condition Tuesday afternoon, authorities said.
No additional information is available at this time.
The crash is under investigation.
