1 Seriously Injured in 80 Freeway Car Crash near Cutting Boulevard in Oakland
Oakland, California (February 24, 2022) – A major injury traffic collision was reported on Thursday morning in Oakland.
The crash happened on westbound 80 Freeway near Cutting Boulevard at around 10 a.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.
The officers who responded to the incident recovered three vehicles at the scene of the accident. The manner in which the accident happened, however, was yet to be established,
CHP said at least one person suffered major injuries in the crash and was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
More details about the accident were not provided.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
