1 Seriously Injured in Collision on 680 Freeway near Sunol Boulevard
Sunol, California (June 2, 2023) – At least one person suffered major injuries in a car crash that happened in Sunol on Friday morning.
The crash happened on northbound 680 Freeway near Sunol Boulevard at around 6:09 a.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.
Two vehicles, possibly a pickup truck and a sedan, were involved in the collision. The impact of the collision caused one of the cars to overturn.
CHP says at least one person suffered major injuries and was transported to the hospital for treatment.
Additional information about the accident was not immediately available.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
