Authorities say at least one person was injured in the accident and was transported to the hospital for treatment
Santa Ana, Calif. – The California Highway Patrol is investigating a traffic collision that happened near Santa Ana on Wednesday evening.
The collision was reported around 4:23 p.m. on 91 Freeway near Lakeview Avenue, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The officers who responded to the incident recovered two cars at the accident scene. The circumstances surrounding the collision, however, were not immediately established.
Authorities say at least one person was injured in the accident and was transported to the hospital for treatment.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
