1 Injured in Car Accident on Highway 1 near Halcyon Road in San Luis Obispo
San Luis Obispo, California (October 8, 2022) – One person was seriously injured in a car accident that happened in San Luis Obispo on Friday night.
At around 11:04 p.m., the California Highway Patrol received reports of a traffic collision on Highway 1 near Halcyon Road.
A red pickup truck and a black sedan were involved in the collision. The events leading up to the accident were yet to be established.
Two people were trapped in each of the vehicles and had to be extricated.
One person was seriously injured in the crash and was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
More details about the accident were not provided.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
