Salinas, CA. – A major injury traffic collision was reported on Thursday evening in Salinas.
The 4:16 p.m. collision happened on Highway 183 near Cooper Road, the California Highway Patrol reported.
A semi-truck and a Toyota sedan were recovered at the accident scene, but the events leading up to the accident were not immediately determined.
Three people were trapped in the wreckage and had to be extricated.
