Sacramento, CA – One person was hospitalized after being injured in a car accident that occurred in south Sacramento early Sunday morning.
At around 3:52 a.m., the California Highway Patrol responded to reports of a traffic collision on the southbound 5 Freeway near Cosumnes River Boulevard.
At least two vehicles were involved in the accident. One of the vehicles overturned after the collision.
One person was injured in the accident and was taken to Kaiser South Hospital for treatment in unknown condition.
Additional information about the accident was not provided.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
