1 Injured in Collision Involving Semi-Truck on 5 Freeway near Pocket Road in Sacramento
Sacramento, California (October 6, 2023) – One person was seriously injured in a collision involving a semi-truck on Friday morning in Sacramento.
The accident was reported at around 7:57 a.m. on the 5 Freeway near Pocket Road, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A black sedan reportedly collided with a semi-truck before veering across lanes where it crashed into the center divider.
CHP reports that one person was seriously injured in the accident and was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
More details about the accident were not released.
