One person suffered major injuries and was transported to UC Davis Medical Center for treatment
Rancho Cordova, Calif. – One person was seriously injured in a hit-and-run car accident early Wednesday morning in Rancho Cordova.
The collision was reported around 3 a.m. on Highway 50 just west of Hazel Avenue, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Two cars were involved in the collision, but the circumstances surrounding the collision were not immediately established.

One of the vehicles did not stop at the scene and the driver was yet to be located
