According to the San Diego Police Department, the accident happened around 12:55 p.m. at the intersection of Catalina Boulevard and Street.

A 21-year-old man was riding a 2006 Suzuki motorcycle southbound when he collided with a 2000 Toyota Tacoma pickup traveling north on Catalina.

The rider suffered an open wrist fracture and was taken to hospital for treatment.

The pickup driver was unhurt.
