Placerville, California (July 25, 2023) – One person was hospitalized after being injured in a crash involving a big rig on Tuesday night.
Placerville Police Department says the accident happened around 8:25 p.m. on Highway 50 near Spring Street.
A big rig and two smaller vehicles were involved in the accident. The events leading up to the accident were not immediately established.
The impact of the collision caused the big rig to overturn, blocking the eastbound lanes of Highway 50.
One person was transported to the hospital with minor injuries.
