According to the police, a man was driving eastbound on Elliot Road when he failed to stop and collided with vehicles that had stopped to yield to a pedestrian walking across the road
Gilbert, AZ.- One person was injured in an accident that happened in Gilbert on Saturday morning, according to the Gilbert Police Department
The crash took place on Elliot Road just east of Val Vista at about 9 a.m. August 16.
According to the police, a man was driving eastbound on Elliot Road when he failed to stop and collided with vehicles that had stopped to yield to a pedestrian walking across the road.
The man was taken to a hospital with serious injuries.
Police reported that speed is believed to have played a role in the accident.
The crash is under investigation.
