Victorville, CA – A motorcyclist was injured Friday afternoon in a traffic accident in Victorville, according to the authorities.
The accident was reported around 4:39 p.m. on October 10 on Bear Valley Road, just east of Amethyst Road.
Authorities said a blue Suzuki motorcycle and a dark blue Honda SUV were involved in the collision.
The motorcyclist was thrown from the bike and was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
The SUV driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigators.
They were uninjured in the accident.
The accident closed the westbound lanes of Bear Valley Road and traffic was temporarily detoured onto Pluto Drive.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
