One person injured in multi-vehicle collision on Highway 99 near Belmont Avenue in Fresno
Fresno, CA. – Injuries were reported in a multi-vehicle collision caused by a vehicle that experienced a flat tire in Fresno on Wednesday morning.
The accident was reported around 9:03 a.m. on Highway 99 near Belmont Avenue, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The rear tire of an SUV came off, causing the vehicle to come to a stop in the center median, resulting in a traffic backup. A short time later, another vehicle traveling at high speed collided with the rear of a different vehicle, resulting in a chain-reaction collision that caused one car to overturn.
As per the report, minor injuries were reported.
